ACACIA AGENDA - VOLUME II
For more than 20 years, Bali has been a second home to us. This film is our love letter to its people, its places, and its culture.
Coming from Hawai‘i, we understand what it means to live in relationship with land, not above it. Bali has shaped the way we live and see the world, deepening our respect for patience, presence, and the traditions that protect both people and place. This project was created from deep gratitude and care, and from a desire to honor Bali not as a destination, but as a living community.
Through these stories, we celebrate the women who carry culture forward each day. Their work, wisdom, and connection to the land sustain the spirit of the island and remind us that balance between people, nature, and what is sacred is something we all share responsibility for.

In Bali, care is not only expressed through giving, but through understanding. At the heart of Balinese life is Tri Hita Karana, the philosophy of balance between land, people, and spirit. This way of living shapes how communities gather, how children are taught, and how the island sustains itself across generations.
Supporting Bali means moving in relationship with these values. It means learning from Balinese-led initiatives that hold deep knowledge of place, culture, and responsibility. By engaging with organizations rooted in Tri Hita Karana, we support not just projects, but the systems of care that allow Bali to remain alive, resilient, and whole.

We Are Kembali
Founded by our dear friend Eva Kandra, We Are Kembali is a regenerative collective rooted in restoring right relationship with land, people, and spirit. Guided by lived practices of reciprocity and care, the collective supports community-led initiatives that nourish Bali from the ground up. Their work centers on healing ecosystems, uplifting local families, and honoring ancestral wisdom, helping ensure the island’s culture and vitality endure for generations.
